CARRIE UNDERWOOD ON HER DREAM JOB

Rising country star--as occupations go, it's a pretty darn good one. But Carrie Underwood tells X Radio that it is still a job, and she tries not to get overwhelmed by the trappings of fame. “Um, I think it’s just important to not get caught up in everything," she says. "I mean honestly, it’s a job. It’s a wonderful, you know, exciting, great job but it is a job. And it’s really important to keep the important things in life in mind and realize that...at the end of the day if you’re proud of what you’ve done then you’re doing things the right way. And hanging out with family and friends, you know, that keeps me pretty grounded because they still treat me normally, but it’s just important to...remember where you came from, and who you are, and you’ll be okay.”
