Carrie Underwood may be a rising country star, but she's still a small down girl who loves to dress up for awards shows and music industry parties. " I always think it’s really important for me to look my best just out of respect for everybody," Carrie tells X Radio. "Awards shows and things like that, I mean, I can’t really see myself showing up in a t-shirt and jeans just because, I mean, it’s just saying ‘thank you.’So I’m going to look great for you guys and I’m gonna do the best that I can for you guys. So, it’s nice. It’s fun.” Look for Carrie to be all dressed up on May 23 at the ACM Awards. She's nominated for three, including the prestigious Top Female Vocalist.
